Successful Beginnings Services:
I offer
individualized, comprehensive
mother-baby care services in the states of Maine and
NH. I often provide both birth and after baby
services for families to allow for continued and
uninterrupted support. I provide families with
as much or as little information as requested and
honor their informed decisions for consent or
refusal in regards to pregnancy, birth,
breastfeeding and parenting choices. I believe
that a woman has a right to maintain autonomy and
personal bodily integrity during pregnancy and birth
if that is her desire.
Birth doula services:
(non-clinical labor support) at home, in a birth
center or a hospital. I
am there solely for you and your partner as your
educator, supporter and advocate. As your birth doula I offer:

After baby support:
When we are informed, rested and supported we tend
to have more reserves and resources to deal with the
challenges of everyday life and parenting. I specialize in overnight postpartum care for
mother and baby during the first few weeks after
birth, however I am very flexible and can work
varying hours depending on your specific needs at any given
time.
After baby my primary
role is to ease the transition into life with a new
baby. The first few weeks can be intimidating,
confusing and exhausting. I am an experienced,
calming presence to help foster bonding and build
confidence in the new family while allowing parents
to get the much
needed rest they need to function in everyday life. However, there is so
much more to my services than that.

My postpartum services
can be utilized by scheduling
days, overnights
or doing Last Minute Care
- you choose. If you have certain dates in
mind, it is recommended to schedule your time ahead
if possible, otherwise there is a chance that I
could be unavailable for Last Minute Care Services
due to the fact that I am scheduled with another
family. But because life's challenges and
babies don't usually follow a schedule, click here
